Seedstock Pro ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website seedstockpro.com and the Seedstock Pro cattle management platform (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, ranch or farm name, and password. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
Herd and Operational Data: The Service is designed to store information about your cattle operation, including but not limited to: animal records, pedigree data, breeding records, medical records, financial records (expenditures, sales, depreciation), semen and embryo inventory, feed and pasture data, and other operational information you choose to enter.
Images and Documents: You may upload photos of animals and images of receipts or other documents. These files are stored on Cloudinary, a third-party cloud storage provider.
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Analytics to help understand how visitors interact with our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your subscription and payment
- Send you service-related communications (account confirmations, billing notices, technical updates)
- Respond to your requests, questions, and feedback
- Monitor usage to improve the user experience
- Protect against unauthorized access or misuse of the Service
3. Your Herd Data Is Yours
All herd and operational data you enter into Seedstock Pro belongs to you. We do not sell, share, or use your herd data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. We will never share your individual animal records, financial data, breeding records, or other operational information with third parties without your explicit written consent.
You may export your data at any time using the export features within the platform. If you cancel your subscription, your data will be retained for 90 days to allow you to reactivate. After 90 days, data may be permanently deleted.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Payment Processing: Stripe, Inc. processes all payments. Stripe's privacy policy governs their use of your payment information. See stripe.com/privacy.
- Image Storage: Uploaded images are stored on Cloudinary. See cloudinary.com/privacy.
- Hosting: The Service is hosted on Railway. See railway.app/legal/privacy.

- Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
We do not sell your personal information or herd data to any third party.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and token-based authentication. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
